It was a very pleasurable face lather with the brush and nice scent from the cream. Thick and slick lather result.
Shave with razor and blade was good. Not great. Smooth performance though. No tugs nor pull. 3 pass ATG, XTG/ATG & ATG. 1 weeper and DFS result.
Ice cold water immediately postshave feels so good. Further refreshed with Thayers Cucumber. The MacaRoot Aloe aftershave felt very good. Sharp, cooling and soothing.

Very nice. I just bought a tub of that and the matching soap...think it's edging out Mr. Taylor and sandalwood as my favorite TOBs scent (St. John's is up there, too).

If I had to complain, I would say the scent could be turned up a notch or two...make it smell like TOBS' sandalwood and I might not ever buy another soap. (smelled like a muted Proraso Red, which I also love)

I inspired myself on this one...the best of both worlds.

I am continuing to use up my T&H Ultimate Comfort cream. Today I used my first Paladin Brush. A PK 47 I won at a Sue Auction. The razor is my Karve B SB with a Dorco st300 blade. The aftershave was Thayers Rose Petal WH and Neutrogena Triple Protect.

Decided to take a break from the CBL soaps today and reached for a proverbial favourite in Proraso Red. I enjoy sandalwood scents and this one is just so good.

Back to a SE in the Supply V2 just to flip things up. I like the heft and have the most aggressive plate on it all the time. Getting much better shaves out of it now and it will be a keeper.

Lovely three pass BBS shave today but it takes patience with the Supply SE. Slow and methodical for me pays off whereas the Colonial General is a Ferrari by comparison. Just me I guess. Topped it off with some Sandalwood balm and Guerlain Santal Royal! Well at least the cat thinks I smell nice! Stay safe!

Another terrific shave from the Timeless. I whipped up a very nice creamy lather from this random unlabeled soap sample I got a while back with a Craving Shaving brush. Terrific lemon/citrus scent with a matte shine and soft peaks. Performance was good but nothing outstanding. Good post-shave though. The Personna blade was pretty smooth and sharp but not the sharpest. Still, the Timeless had no problem gliding through the stubble. My face is feeling soft and uber comfortable.

Another "Found Treasures" old school day.

Traditional Williams shaving puck in a lapis coffee mug.
Unknown brand of butterfly open safety razor. Gillette? Wilkinson? Who knows ... no markings that I can see.
Unknown brush.
New Shark blade.

Soaked the brush in hot water along with the razor, then lathered up the cup.*klinkety klinkety klink klink* for about 30 seconds, made a nice lather that I painted across my chubby cheeks and scruffy stubble.

Nice comfortable close shave with no weepers, only a couple passes WTG, ATG and XTG.
