Il Marchese Brush - this showed up today. A lather monster.
Rockwell 6S with 3rd use Gillette Silver Blue Blade
Phoenix Indestructible Scuttle - This came with the brush and worked better than I thought it would.....I do a face then head shave and am slow so the lather was no longer hot by the time I got to my head. Still for about 15 minutes anything in the scuttle was definitely hot.
Fendrihan Bergamot pre shave
TOBS Grapefruit Shave Cream
Truefitt and Hill Lime After Shave Balm
Dr Johns Tangerine Dream Aftershave Splash - also new today.........very fruity. Goes well with the shave cream.

Prep: Curology Cleanser
Cream: ToBS Jermyn Street
Brush: Vulfix Grosvenor badger/boar
Razor: Mühle R89 Grande, #10
Blade: Treet New Steel, #1 (shimmed)
Post: Alum -> hyaluronic acid -> Pinaud Clubman Special Reserve aftershave

Two passes: SAS on my lower neck and DFS everywhere else. Zero feedback and no irritation on my neck. Probably the best shave with this razor so far. The ToBS made for some great lather and this blade has been the best yet with this razor, sharp and smooth. First use of the Treet and I was impressed.

Razor Pearl Flexi Adjustable V1
Blade KAI 1st

Reused previous-day lather. It was dried-up but with some added water, wow! From dried-up back to a nice creamy and slick lather. The scent remains consistent...very nice!!!
Shave with razor paired with the blade was good. Really heavy razor and just a very minor imbalance for both sides of blade exposure. At setting 4-4-3 it was smooth and comfortable for 3passes for a mostly bbs result but 1 micro weeper.
Excellent aftershaves. Rating 9.5/10

Greetings,

A superb razor & blade duo, mowing through my stubble with effortless ease...The Treet 7DP is a wonderful match for the Parker 55SL.

The Proraso green soap continued to provide me with a wonderful slick protective lather in a short space of time, with the Chinese horsehair brush is super soft, holds the lather well, with enough backbone.

Another pleasurable 3 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a small dollop of Aloe Vera Gel.

My face is feeling super smooth & cool.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

Ring-a-ding-ding!

Also, I've shelved my quest for a truly effective
pre-shave. The results are just too inconclusive.
Today, for example, I shaved without a pre-shave
and got as good a shave as ever. Go figure.

Stay healthy, everyone!
