Haven't been on forums lately, but I'm seeing lots of fantastic photos. Decided to make a photo in the nice NorCal spring light.
Everyone take care and be safe.

Nice picture...not shave related, but I took this spring picture today.

Today, Sunday March 22, was my first shave in about 4 or 5 days. Definitely a good amount of growth.

Stirling Barbershop shave soap
Alpha 400 Tribute (fixed ferule) brush with boar knot
Turkish hand hammered copper and tin lined shave mug
Gillette New Deluxe head on Ikon Bulldog matte finish 85mm handle
Polsilver Super Iridium blade (6 or 7)
Osma alum
T.N. Dickinson's witch hazel
RazoRock Blue Barbershop aftershave splash

I should have tossed the blade two shaves ago. Got some irritation on my neck. But otherwise a nice 3 pass plus touchup shave. Nothing overly creative here. Just my normal go to stuff.

SOTD, Sunday, March 22nd, 2020

Shower + glycerin soap face lather and rinse
Martin de Candre shave soap
Omega "Midget" badger brush
Feather Artist Club folding shavette + Softguard blade
Gillette Tech safety razor + Nacet blade for touch-up
Cool washcloth rinse
Aqua Velva aftershave
Cetaphil antiseptic cleanser

Long story...on return from air travel, SWMBO banished me to to spare bedroom for quarantine!
So, still using the travel shave kit, which is serving well!
One more week to go!

How did the Haslinger work out for you?

Well, how did you like it?

Very, very nice. I shave in the shower and ended up staying in until no more hot water working the lather after every pass to figure out how much water it likes/can take....lots of "wow" and "very nice."

Great shave, one of the closet in a while...and lather for days!

Easy to lather up lots of lather, residual slickness was top notch, sat there rubbing my face for what seemed like an hour after the shave, so post-shave was nice, too. (It didn't feel over moisturizing/heavy like my beloved Cella or the MWF I used Friday.)

Given its price, it's definitely a keeper...already has its own dedicated tin. :)

If I had to complain, I would say the scent could be turned up a notch or two...make it smell like TOBS' sandalwood and I might not ever buy another soap. :) (smelled like a muted Proraso Red, which I also love)

If that's your travel kit, you're doin' alright, my friend!

Beautiful shave set, Sir Cowboyblue! Love the Remington!

But the brush looks, to me, like a synth, rather than a badger!

Are you positive?

Uh, yessir it is a synthetic and I am a doofus! I knew that and misidentified it anyway!

My penance will be a dry shave tomorrow with a rusty pocketknife.

Pre- Liquid Neutrogena face wash & warm water
Razor- 1955 Gillette Travel Tech
Blade- Astra SP (3)
Soap- Stirling barbershop
Brush- Omega 21 mm silvertip
Bowl- Captain's Choice
Post- Classic Shaving alum, cold water rinse, Thayer's lavender WH
AS- Afta

My first time using the TT I picked up last month. Not my most irritation-free shave but I'll try it again for a series, probably with a fresh blade. Afta is a nice complement to the Barbershop scent.

First time using "Mr Pepper" but as a Dr Pepper lover, I had to give it a try. I'd have to say is smells more similar to Mr. Pibb but still a pleasant scent. Formed a great slick later and quite a pleasure to use. Only problem now is I keep getting a whiff of soda and it's making me thirsty!
