Another fantastic shave with this razor.

First time trying this soap, and I must say that I was impressed. Very nice creamy lather. I just scooped some from the jar and pressed it into my lather bowl. I definitely put a little too much because of being unfamiliar with this soap, and got tons of lather. I'll know better next time.
Even the thick glass jar it comes in was impressive.

Happy Shaves Everyone!

Estrenando este viejo jabón de sebo de los 70 que increíblemente sigue funcionando perfectamente, no sé porqué narices dejaron de fabricar éstas joyas tanto como la navaja que menudos afeitados te siguen dando.

A fine shave.

My main goal for this year's FFFMM is to prove to myself that less is really more. That's in all aspects of the shave.

My typical format is two passes: 1 WTG/Freestyle, and 2 ATG/Freestyle. BUT... a pass for me is usually multiple, buffing style, strokes. So in reality my two pass shave is more of an eight pass plus shave. It's hard to kick old habits (especially when they work well) but I've managed to reduce the actual passes to six (or less) so far. The great thing is that I'm still getting BBS shaves easily. I'll continue reducing the number of strokes to see how little I actually need. Of course, the most difficult thing is switching off the existing program to achieve this. :001_rolle

I'm reducing my shaving brush loading swirls too. I started out at 40, and appear to have reached the optimum (for this soap and brush) at 16. That amount still leaves me ample for another pass, but I quite like it that way. (I'm using ~1g per shave.)

Happy shaves guys. :cornut:
