This shave just proved that you don't necessarily need the best or most expensive product to get a great shave; they help, but aren't necessary. I face lathered the cream using this wonderful brush. Really loving this knot, so soft and pleasant. Lather was very nice, just a little dry. First pass saw the razor catching a lot, which I think is where a better product would've made the difference. But my recent change in pass direction and the Rapira in the ATT did a number on the stubble. Great close result, face feeling excellent, can't ask for better!

Lux (Poland)/ BIC (2). Thin stamped bottom plate but all stainless steel. More like the Swedish Swing and Matador than a Tech, gives a fine, efficient shave with the BIC.

Razor: Oneblade Core version 2 - Mfg 2018> My Great daily driver #1 of lately, works well for a milder razor.
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE(2) modified.
Soap: Santa Maria del Fiore(Razorock)
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Tuxedo knot "Sagrada Familia" named after the famous cathedral in Barcelona Spain.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of Aloe Vera on beard area.
Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 3 + pick ups.
Post shave: Razorock Emperor with witch hazel + a tiny dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = great shave with my Oneblade core.
