Thanks, Ron, for the nice note! Obviously, I need a new razor like proverbial hole in the head, but could not resist jumping for the Karve. This is the 3.5" handle. Shave yesterday was with the "D" plate, which shaved like a really smooth Fatip.

That's good to know, Murray. I've been on a buying hiatus lately (I have so many razors and soaps I've never used!) but I am intrigued by the Karve. I was debating the handle size (3.5" is just about right for me) and plates. I'll probably bite the bullet and go for a D & E just for the variety.

It's no use after 3 days my stubble is itching like crazy. Sun burn or not it's had to come off......gently though.

Long soak in the bath to start with .

iKON MR SE
Kai Pro touch blade 5th (gentle)
Vulfix silver tip
Boots cool Cologne cream

Alovera gel
3P post shave creme
And a dab of Pitralon red dot original

And a good heap of after sun skin cream for the cooling effect. All in a DFS with no irratation to my currently delicate face ; )
