Man, I forgot how much I absolutely LOVE this scent. I need to get the aftershave. So, so good. This excellent knot generated a great lather from the soap, and the Feather loaded into the razor wasn't taking any guff. The blade did feel a little more pronounced compared to the Astra, but my God is my face smooth, and my complexion is great. This was a really top-notch shave, just outstanding.

Didn’t need to shave today, but wanted to get a quick WTG pass in before I leave for a three day trip tomorrow morning. I enjoyed the face lathering with the Yaqi brush but I still can’t get passed how much better I am at developing a lather in the bowl. It was an enjoyable quick shave though.

Cold wet flannel to my face.


Pears ~ Transparent Soap Bar / Nuage Menthol Shaving Oil.


Brush: Chinese Unbranded Silvertip Fibre.


Bowl Lather.


Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.


Frankenlather : Arko Sensitive + Geo F. Trumper Violet Shaving Cream.


Blade: Mers ~ SuperShave X Platinum. (2)



Razor: Ming Shi 3000s. ~ (Settings) 7-wtg, 8-xtg, 9-atg+pick ups.


Post:

A relaxing Sunday morning shave.


The Ming Shi 3000s is such a mild razor which for me isn't a bad thing as i don't need an aggressive razor each time i shave. What i like about the 3000s is i can buff over my tough stubble areas without causing any irritation to my skin.

I personally think if you find something that works for you then stick with it no matter how much or little it costs, if it gives you good shaving results then that's all you need. Enough said.

Another very comfortable 2 pass + pick ups BBS shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of Creightons ~ Sensitive Post Shave Balm.

My face is feeling silky smooth & smelling divine.
