Ever wonder how many shaves in each tub of Proraso? See below in the Lather report!
I added a second across the grain pass to my head shave with amazing results!

The more I practice the more ridiculously good the shave is!

Brush: Parker Synth Brush
Bowl: Shave Nation
Lather: Proraso White (19)
Razor: Gillette 1959 E4 Settings:
Face WTG:3-XTG:2-ATG:1
Head WTG:5-XTG:4-ATG:3
Head WTG:5-XTG:4-XTG:4-ATG:3
Blade: Gillette Nacet (1)
Razor: Gillette Styler
Post: Omega Alum Block
Post: Thayers Witch Hazel
Balm: Proraso White

Have a great day!

Brush: Shavemac 20/47 Silvertip 2-Band
Soap: Bignoli Agrumi del Mediterraneo
Razor: RazoRock Lupo 95 GT Special
Blade: Personna Red (3)
ASL 1: Orange FREEZE [home brew]
ASL 2: Clubman Whiskey Woods

An excellent shave.
BUT, the Bignoli Agrumi smelled yuck (to quote/paraphrase Al @AimlessWanderer, "a mixture of citrus and 'baby sick'").

The Orange FREEZE ASL, although only having a single scent, didn't tone the nauseous Agrumi down any. I rushed out of the bathroom and grabbed my Clubman Whiskey Woods… SUCCESS, KILLED IT! :whistling:

I really enjoy the Bignoli Licorice and Mint shaving soap. The reason for my second purchase was to see if their other soaps were as good... and I picked the Agrumi as citrus is usually a safe bet with any soap for me, BIG MISTAKE. The shaving soap itself is excellent (just like the Licorice and Mint one) but the citrus scent is atrocious (to me).

I was also looking for another of their soaps with a less polarizing scent than the Licorice and Mint (which is great, but not an every day choice). Unfortunately for me the Agrumi was just as polarizing, but in a bad way (unlike the Licorice and Mint).

I suspect my next shave will be with one of my trusty (and relatively scent safe) TFS shaving soaps. :yesnod:

Happy shaves guys. :cornut:

Very nice soap! Sorta pop drink scent and really rich creamy slick lather...!!
This shave with my oldest razor (100) paired with the blade was a perfect combination! Crisp, smooth, and comfortable in 3passes for a bbs to dfs finish. Amazing how good this razor is in comparison to the new ones.
Aftershaves were cold and excellent for an oven-hot day!!

Pears Transparent Bar Soap. + Nuage Menthol shaving Oil.
Brush: Fine 24mm Synthetic.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Home Bargains Stainless Steel Side Bowl.
Lather: Monsavon au lait.
Blade: Baili Platinum +.(D1)
Razor: Baili BD191.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezings, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils. + 3 Menthol Crystals, Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Cien X-Bolt ASL./Aloe Vera Gel.

Greetings,

Early morning shave.

The Monsavon au lait as always provided me with a wonderful protective slick lather for the shave leaving an excellent post shave feel....I had all intentions to carry on with Baili Platinum + blade for a third outing but changed my mind at the last minute and used a fresh one instead which felt smooth and efficient.

A Enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups acceptable comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a small dollop of Aloe Vera Gel.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.😎

Today's shave :
Shower + exfoliation
Pre : Proraso rinfrescante
Shave cream : Palmolive men classic
Post : alum stick (not on picture)
Aftershave : Mennen Skin Bracer (French bottle)
Nothing fancy, you can get it absolutely everywhere in France and I can't compare with the American version but I absolutely love the scent, it's manly but sweet with a touch of vanilla (imo).

Weapons of choice:
Razor : Parker semi-slant (my new favourite after 2 tries)
Blade : Cloud super blade (2)
Brush : Osma tradition silvertip

A nice and easy shave. BBS result with very little redness or irritation. The Parker ousted my R41 and DE89 in one shave and kept on impressing me that second time!

Preshave: shower, frigid tap water
Brush: Semogue Owners Club 2-band finest badger butterscotch handle
Soap: Catie's Bubbles ~ Le Marché du Rasage
Razor: Blackland Blackbird Open Comb Stainless Steel
Blade: vintage Polsilver Stainless (6)
Post shave: frigid tap water, AXE Apollo AS.

I had to shave three days worth of growth today. After having completed two highly efficient passes I needed just a few touchups on my troublespots before my skin felt like 11 years old again.

During the first pass (wtg) I felt a tiny bit of roughness, so I thought the sharpness might have started to fade, but the atg pass was absolutely smooth again.

Happy shaves, y'all!

Using the Mergress XL and Lord SC combo today for the third shave. The blade has started to dull, and this will be its last shave. A nice lather and good shave. Topped off with some TOBS fragrance. Have a great day, B&Bers.
