Nice brush.
Nice. The razor really pops.Razor: RazoRock German 37 slant head with RazoRock barberpole handle
Blade: Derby
Soap: What the Puck! Orange Sunrise puck in Crabtree & Evelyn bowl
Brush: Semogue boar, model 1305 (I think . . .)
Aftershave: Aqua Velva
Camera: Toyo View 45s (4x5 monorail view camera)
Lens: Topcor 50mm f/4.5
Exposure: 1/2 second at f/16
Film: Kodak Portra 400 (expired); developed at home; scanned on Epson V800
This was my first attempt at developing color negatives at home. It was really just as easy as developing black-and-white negatives.
Thanks! Large format has a very shallow depth of field. I wanted to get the razor sharp, then have a couple of other things sharp enough to understand them without having them dominate.Nice. The razor really pops.
I really like the grainy, ultra-high-contrast look there.
Great, the ethereal soft focus of your background items relative to the pin sharp contrast of your razor.View attachment 1002913
