Post shave: frigid tap water, Stirling Soap ~ Orange Chill AS/ witch hazel.

Survived Shark Week without further wounds. So today's shave finally was dedicated to the vintage Polsilver Stainless. 2 days worth of growth called for an efficient razor.

Overall, a very nice first outing, I hope the blade will retain its sharpness for a bunch of shaves... I like it thus far.

COMMENT: I think the Omega 31064 (81064) boar is a bit overlooked -- I rarely see other mention it, but I find it to be an outstanding brush..!! You don't get the backbone that otherwise distinguishes boar bristle. Instead, you get a super soft "boar hug" type brush, with a fantastic acrylic octagonal handle, and this brush comes with a really good stand too. I usually don't deal much with very soft brushes, but this one is really brilliant. I like using it with creams, which I don't use very often either. Today with Proraso green, a menthol-head shave, topped off with Epsilon Blue Mediteranian, loaded with menthol too ... it's summer, alright...!

Today is a travel shave. It was supposed to be fast and pleasant, in this case I don't have to use very efficient razors. But a good shave anyway ... I only had 15 minutes.

As always, shave the head and face.

DE SOTD, July 20th 2021

Razor: Razorock 2nd Gen Lupo .72, excellent mid range razor, carefree shave this morning , well designed, joy to use.
Blade: Gillette 7oClock SP, Sharp & smoooth with reasonable longevity for a DE.
Soap: Razorock Don Marco- nice citrus scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi Moka express 24mm synthetic, Excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud like soft tips, gentle scrubber, great lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave: Proraso green with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my RR Lupo .72+ Gillette 7oClock SP.
