Prep: Warm shower:/ Imperial Leather ~ Peppermint & Eucalyptus Shower Gel.


Pre:

Cold wet flannel to my face.

Pears ~ Transparent Soap.

Brush: Chinese Unbranded Synthetic.

Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.

Bowl Lather.

Bowl : Tesco's Ceramic (UK) 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.

Uberlather/Frankensoap: Williams Mug Shaving Soap / Valobra Menthol Soap. (Sample) + 6 drops of Glycerin.

Blade: Dorco Prime Platinum.(2)

Razor: Merkur 34C.


Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade menthol crystals +Eucalyptus peppermint,+ Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./Proraso ~ Eucalyptus & menthol ASL.

Another wonderfully relaxing Uberlather/frankensoap sunday shave.

Second outing with the valobra 'soft/croap-like' menthol soap sample which is very like proraso green with a more menthol hit, mix together with the Williams wonderfully it created a wonderful slick protective lather for the shave, leaving another equally superb post shave feel.

I've been curious about the Valobra shave stick, for a while,another soap i've added to my ' wish list', but not for a while as i have enough soaps & shaving creams to contend with, before i can add & appreciate any other new additions to my humble shaving cream & soap collection.

A comfortable 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of The Real Shaving Co.~ Post Shave Soothing Balm.

My face is feeling smooth & smelling devine.

Those Fatips look crazy nice, they got a style about them. How's it shave? Do they all come with both heads?

Mine is an older one that comes only with the head you see in the photo. It shaves very well but you do have to fiddle with it to get the blade aligned properly. I understand that this problem has been corrected, but if you get on that is more than just a few years old you should take care to make sure the blade is in correctly.

It is very aggressive but not near as aggressive as the Muhle R41 IMHO. For what it's worth, I prefer the Muhle.
