Saturday shave

Prep: Noxzema
Soap: Eufros Tierra Humeda
Brush: Karve two-band badger
Razor: Parker 24C, shave #1
Blade: Astra SP, #1
Post: Alum -> hyaluronic acid-> Clubman Pinaud Reserve Whiskey Woods aftershave

First shave with the Parker and it was very nice. Two-passes, majority DFS with a bit of CCS on the left side of my neck. Some feedback from the alum, all of it on my neck. No surprise there, given it was a new razor and I'm figuring out angles.

Brush: Semogue Torga-C3 Finest Mistura 22/49
Soap: TFS Mandarino Tachibana
Razor: Timeless SSSlim OC (on custom Olive Wood handle)
Blade: Nacet (6)
ASL: TFS Mandarino Tachibana

And another good shave.

At last, that nagging little handle problem is fixed. :001_smile

On my first two Timeless shaves I went with stainless steel handles, just to match the head. For me, they turned out to be a tad too long and a tad too short. Today I picked my Olive Wood (75mm) custom handle; just what the doctor ordered (I didn't notice it was there).

Now the handle problem is out of the way I can get down to some serious training. Onward!

Happy Shaves guys. :cornut:

Prep: Neutrogena Razor Defense face scrub
Soap: Declaration Grooming Cur Et Epices
Brush: Ever-Ready F40 badger-cased boar
Razor: Parker 24C, shave #2
Blade: Astra SP, #2
Post: Alum -> hyaluronic acid-> Mennen Skin Bracer aftershave -> a small dab of My Nik is Sealed

Lightened up tonight and the first two passes were so nice and the soap performing admirably that I decided to chase a BBS. Made it there in a few areas and DFS+ on the rest. For the most part it was relatively comfortable--at least with the alum. I did get some stinging from the aftershave and then noticed a tiny weeper on the edge of my chin. A bit of My Nik is Sealed and all was well.
