Jim, another breathtaking shot blade-themed shot! How do you like the Reuzel cream & AS?

Thanks Jeff. The Reuzel soap is more gooey than Im used to -- more of a cream than a soap or a croap.
The AS, on the otherhand is the bargain of the two which are priced about the same-- $10. USD each. AS has a very pleasant (IMO) barbershop smell and not much burn. It seems to last about an hour or two.

Razor: Valet C1 auto-strop, Canadian Variant- MFG 1920's, original gap .011" and changed it .007" to mellow it out. I really liked this change I did a couple of years ago and enjoy this shave. Todays blades are possibly sharper than yrs that have gone by?
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE (2)modified, excellent blade, very sharp and smooths out nicely over uses, great longevity.
Soap: Speick- mild spicy scent with great lather qualities, post shave feel average.
Brush: Yaqi Chianti's 24mm knot, excellent lather creator with heavenly like soft tips, nice back bone for a gentle scrub and great lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock American barber with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BbS + no irritation + no weepers = Excellent shave with my C1 Valet Auto-strop + a Gem modified coated blade.

Brush: Mühle NOM Gustav Havanna Black Fibre Synthetic
Soap: Le Père Lucien ~ Cèdre Orange
Razor: Gillette Tech Ball End
Blade: Personna Platinum Chrome (2)
Postshave: frigd tap water, Le Père Lucien Cèdre Orange AS.

The Tech and the Personna provided a mild shave. I skipped the shave after three nice passes, because I feared to end up with irritation on the neck. Therefore the result did not have the desired level of closeness. Maybe I should have added a shim... Nevertheless, a neat shave.
