>> Shave Roulette <<

Preshave: frigid tap water
Brush: Semogue Owners Club 2-band badger
Soap: Stirling Soap ~ "Citrus Blast" (JAHE's mix)
Razor: Razorock Gamechanger .84 Jaws
Blade: Wilkinson Sword Germany (2)
Postshave: frigd tap water, Nivea 2in1 AS.

Today's spin in the B&B Shave Roulette brought up Stirling's Lime. It's a crisp interpretation of a lime scent without being sharp. I truly enjoy this fresh scent - just as it is. Nevertheless, I recently wondered if Lime does pair nicely with Stirling's Orange Chill and Lemon Chill... and the idea of "Citrus Blast" was born - and I enjoyed the result.

In the next attempt of pairing these three soaps I will continue to improve the ratio of the soaps (more Lime, less Lemon chill), I might add some glacial Satsuma, too, or just some pure blood orange eo.

Enjoy your weekend, gents!

Razor - Rockwell 6S, R5
Blade - Feather
Brush - AKA Brushworx padauk 26mm Strike Gold HMW
Soap - Sudsy Soapery Bayberry
A/S - Sudsy Soapery Bayberry

My first use of this brush, which is a handle that the highly talented @gablett made with a knot I installed. The handle is exceptionally finished and so comfortable; it has a fat grip that is just really easy to hold and switch hands as I lather. I strongly recommend checking AKA Brushworx out. The knot is very soft and very dense. I ended up setting it a little on the low side and it feels like a tight ball of hair on the face, but the hair is great, a very high quality knot. The soap lathered up really nicely, the SS mango butter base is great. I got great glide and a nice smooth close shave as a result. The balm is on the thick side, and leaves my face a little greasy, but I also applied it over A&E's post serum, so maybe I'll try it without next time.
