Received the Gillette Skin Guard razor as a promotion from Gillette. It is a Fusion metal/rubber/plastic handle with a 2 blade cartridge that has a guard top and bottom. Not bade as you don't feel the bade. The cost of replacement blades are ridiculous.

Coate’s Cream Lime today. 20 seconds to load the Elite Razor/TGN Grade Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Schick Plus Platinum still in the Gillette Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Country Club Frozen Vetiver aftershave.

Very comfortable shave. Two passes, then a couple of clean-up buffs for a DFS+ result. Dr Dittmar soap produces a very good lather; it doesn't feel quite as slick as some other soaps, but it seems to allow very close yet comfortable blade contact, resulting is excellent efficiency. Also feels terrific on the face and post shave.
I was able to play with a few new things today. The Fatboy is a pleasant razor to use, nothing new here.
The B+M Rhapsody soap base is nothing new to talk about either, excellent as expected. But that scent, hmm, not too sure what to think. I general I do enjoy the scent, but I'm not sure why. It unique, I assume it's quite polarizing, and I need to give it some more time to make a final grade.
Now, the star of the show today is the YRP toner. Wow is this stuff incredible. It went on effortlessly, the smoothing post-shave feel is still with me several hours later. And the scent on this one is amazing. I blind bought it based on reviews and I am a fan. The citrus off the top is a bit much, but once applied the other scents blend together and I find it very pleasing.
Today's was fun and thoroughly enjoyed.
