Jack Black Turbo Wash
Hot towel with Thayers Lemon Astringent
Knightsbridge Bergomot Preshave
TOBS Grapefruit Shave Cream - My most used soap or cream. This stuff smells like grapefruit more than the real thing.
Thater 2 Band Brush
Merkur 34C Razor with second use Voskhod Blade
Gillette Fusion 5 maintained with Razorpit............I am liking my investment in the Razorpit...........you run the cartridge over the pad 4 times while it is loaded with shave cream at the end of your shave and it "cleans" the blades for the next use. So far so good. I have used the cleaning pad 6 times since I got it on a cartridge that had seen 5 uses already. This is for face and head shaves where everything gets 3 passes with a DE first..........so the Gillette is doing mostly tough back of the head stuff but those hairs are dense and are not kind to blades.
Alum Block
Truefitt and Hill Facial Moisturizer followed by microwaved towel
Thayers Lavender Toner
Sung Hei aftershave

Soap Stirling Ozark Mountain 1st Use 👍👍👍
Brush Yaqi 24mm Sagrada Familia
Razor GEM Junior
Blade GEM Stainless 13th use...👍👍👍 (not sure if a doing few strops on oxide-pasted linen followed by lather helps)
Post & Aftershaves Ice Water + Thayers + Hyaluronic + Reuzel Wood & Spice
This is a very nice & pleasant scented soap. The strength was a good medium off-puck and consistent throughout the shave. Nicely creamy and slick lather too.
Shave with razor paired with the well-used but still sharpish blade was amazingly smooth, comfortable, and quite efficient for 3passes without any issues. The result was mostly bbs to dfs. Excellent aftershave too. Very enjoyable SE shave session!
Rating 10/10!

Beautiful razor. I just bought a similar Ever Ready travel razor with case and blade bank. Not as pristine as yours, but looks functional. Big problem, though. It came with a blade loaded and I can't figure out how to open the head to remove and replace the blade. It doesn't seen made to open on the sides like a 1912 and there's nothing in the back to open it with. No TTO like a Micromatic. I gently tried to raise the head with a knife, but no go. Any suggestions you might have would be much appreciated. Many thanks.
