The vintage Wilkinson “New” blade hasn’t been retired, but my curiosity got the better of me...I wanted to try the Gillette Platinum “Swede” blades.

Gents...this is the best initial shave I have ever gotten from a modern/currently produced blade, and it competes very well with any of the vintage blades I have used!

Skipped yesterday because my neck is still red and irritated from Thursday's shave. Took the razor steep today and it was okay, certainly better than Thursday's. Two-passes + touch-ups to my chin and made it to DFS on my face. No way was I doing touch-ups on my neck, so SAS there. I plan on skipping tomorrow, too, and then will try a shim on Monday.
