Haircut & Shave Synth
Bowl: Small Dog Feeder
Lather: Body Shop Maca Root
Razor: Feather AS/D2
Blade: Nacet
Post: GBS Alum Block
Balm: CeraVe Moisturizer
Frag: Encre Noire Extreme
Great shave today, but it took a lot of buffing.
Definitely time to change blades. I'll probably
load a Silver Star into a Hone Type 15 tomorrow.
(I rotate razors every time I change blades.)

Now I await my new copper bowl from the Captain.

Stay healthy, everyone!

Woke up to 5” of snow on the ground with it still coming dow pretty heavy. After my usual two pasted strops and leather strop, the Wade & Butcher 7/8 easily swept away the mug whiskers in three slow, easy passes. I've found that my former struggles with neck whiskers go away when my razor is sharp enough! That was definitely the case today. The Barbasol Floating Head (BFH) on its part completed what turned out to be another two pass excellent noggin shave. The BFH is easily one of my top 5 dome shavers. It does sing as it cuts, but the result can never be argued with. I feel clean, refreshed and velveteen smooth!

RAZOR: Wade & Butcher 7/8 (Mug), Barbasol Floating Head (Dome)
BLADEM: Sharp Star
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
BRUSH: Viking Silvertip Badger
CREAM: A&E Shaving Butter
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse with Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with A&E Post-Shave Serum.

Razor: Oneblade core Version 2-MFG 2018> mild razor, great 3 pass daily driver, only razor I have that will allow pressure.
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE modified (5) excellent SE blade, very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable.
Soap: Razorock The dead sea- nice scent with excellent lather qualities IMO.
Brush: Yaqi Artic sky 24 mm knot, excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud like soft tips, nice gentle scrub & great lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on cleaned beard area.
Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 3 + pickups. WTG, XTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock The Dead Sea splash with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = :a17: Excellent shave with my Oneblade core with a modified Gem blade.
