Good quality lather from the soap. Like the scent but it's just too light. Struggled to sniff the nice aromatic tobacco scent...
Shave with the vintage razor paired with the blade was very good and perfectly matched. So smooth and comfortable for 3passes without any issues for a mostly BBS result. Excellent aftershaves! Rating 10/10!!

Greetings,
A relaxing Sunday morning shave...The Ever Ready 1912 (US) was my first introduction to the wonderful world of Ever Ready SE vintage razors kindly gifted to me by a fellow member of TSR forum (UK).. From my first trepidation maiden shave, i was instantly swooned by these vintage ladies, not just the looks the smooth efficiency of these razors is remarkably good as is the audio feedback i could happily shave with these razors forever but like everyone else i like to rotate my razors in my shave set ups.
A relaxing 3 pass + pick ups Close comfortable Sunday morning shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a small dollop of Aloe Vera Gel.
My face is feeling silky smooth & smelling divine.
A blue shave for Sunday.

I had my first shave with this razor today. At every slight change of angle the cap started to move and slightly lifted the blade from the stoppers. I switched to my Ever Ready and did some clean up with a Focus R22 Shavette. I posted a thread in the SE section to find out what happened.
Prep: Homemade Balsam Fir shave oil

Brush: 20+ year old AoS pure badger
Razor: Gillette New SC
Blade: Gillette Platinum (1) First time use
Aftershave: Long Rifle Bay Rhum
Post: Thayers Unscented Wtich Hazel
Shave: 8/10 - chased and caught the BBS unicorn but paid for it with irritation using untested blades. Super sharp, super close. I will be trying these again!
