I feel like such a piker. When I travel--at least by air--it's a Gillette disposable and a tube of Cremo for me.

Prep: Hot Shower
Brush: Declaration Jeffo B7 Peach
Razor: Gillette NEW SC
Blade: GSB (3)
Lather: Declaration Grooming - Massacre of the Innocents - Soap
Post Shave: Australian Private Reserve - Fenchurch - Aftershave
Fragrance: PdM Herod

Once again, this NEW SC impresses me with an extremely close shave with very little irritation. One nick on the chin. 85% BBS after the usual 3 passes (WTG, XTG, ATG) + minor clean up.

This B7 is both beautiful to look at and is fantastic to use. More on this new acquisition soon.

Milksteak makes life easy and MOTI is an all star scent. I draw from this well frequently.

Fenchurch is also in a league of its own and deserves a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame.

Greetings,

A relaxing sunday morning shave.

It's been a while since i last used my Parker 99R which was the first along with the 22R DE razors that i purchased not long after i'd ventured into the wonderful world of traditional wet shaving, and got the 'Shaving Bug' purely because it looked excellent and had great reviews, after that i developed a fondness for parker razors...I now have 10 Parker razors in my shaving den,4 of which were past on to me by workmates who fell out of love with them...

The KMF Patchouli shave cream is another item that i've hardly gave any attention to in the past with only small amount mixed together with the proraso soap created a absolutely slick protective superlather

A comfortable 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Finishing to the shave off with a generous dollop of Aloe Vera Gel

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling devine.;)

Enjoy your sunday, ladies & gentlemen.

Sunday 16th February

Simpson Chubby 2 Synthetic - MdC Vetyver - PAL Injectomatic/Personna -Monotheme Vetiver Bourbon

My first ever use of Martin de Candre .... and very nice it was. I can't believe how little was needed to load the brush and how much lather was produced. The Injectomatic preformed flawlessly and the resulting shave would be difficult to better.
It was a great Sunday morning shave.

SOTD 02/16/20

My MWF focus this month continues with one of my less well-behaved razor’s, my MMOC. This razor never fails to deliver an excellent close shave, but also requires attention to its use. If that attention wanders Madame Micromatic will bite!

In this case, I chose to forgo my usual PAA Preshave Cube prep and simply stuck to my cold water rinse before lathering up for my first WTG pass! I used careful short strokes and avoided long sweeping ones, as those never failed to incite a bite in the past.

The Pella PTFE Gem Blade swept through the whiskers like Sherman through Georgia! The result was a bloodless first pass that totally cleaned up the dome and left very slight roughness around the Adam’s Apple, which has proven problematic with this razor in the past.

I relathered that area as well as the back of my head and did some ATG buffing. When I finished there was no heat at my throat and minimal stinging at the back of my head, but again, no blood! BBS with minor heat. So onward and upward!

I just received back my repaired Rex Ambassador! The last time I used that razor, it wreaked havoc. I was unable to shave the dome for almost three days! So that’s on the docket For tomorrow. Today I feel clean, smooth and refreshed!

RAZOR: Gem MMOC
BLADE: Pella PTFE Gem
PREP: Cold water rinse
BRUSH: Viking Silvertip Badger
SOAP: Mitchell’s Wool Fat
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by Thayers Lavender WH and PAA Mentholated Mysterium Serum
