A mostly steep-angled, two-pass DFS again tonight. I could probably get another shave out of the Voskhod, but I'm noticing some razor bumps on my neck. The usual place I get them, but I haven't had them in a while. Not sure if it's the razor, the blade, or the new pattern I was trying, but will try to correct by going back to Astra SP and my previous pattern to see if I can't clear it up.

Nice lather from the soap. The scent was mild but the quality was thick, creamy, and slick.
Shave with this GEM paired with the blade was so much more comfortable compare to my other GEMs. Very smooth too. Especially for under the nose. 3 multiple passes for a bbs to DFS result at the expense of 1 weeper. Satisfying post & aftershaves.
Rating today 9.5/10
A very beautiful & enjoyable vintage razor!!

Lather : The body Shop Maca Root Shave Cream.

Blade: Mers ~ Super Shave X Platinum. (3)

Razor: Parker ~ 55SL Semi-Slant.

Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade (~Winter mix~) peppermint Lavender, +eucalyptus, Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./Gummy ~ Traditional Turkish Tobacco Cologne./ Morrisons ~Intensive moisture lotion.

The Maca Root cream provided me with a superb slick protective lather, people have a love/hate opinion on it scent, which doesn't get top marks which i agree but it's residual slickness protection ,shaving performance, & post shave feel are all superb. One of my favourite shaving creams.

A enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups close comfortable /near BBS shave with no errors to report...Finishing to the shave off with a small dollop of Morrisons ~Intensive moisture lotion.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.
