12/08/2017 Last Night's Shave

It was a nice shave, I got this Lather Bros soap during a black friday sale. Limited Release. Lavender, Pear, Cedar is truly a scent profile made for me. This I guess is a Marvel comics thing? I read DC comics so The scent sold me, not the "super hero". Old spice champion is a modern easter european after shave, very fresh and cooling.

well, Entre Bulles et Moi: RazzBocket rocked up this morning... it'd be churlish not to, eh? So, RazzBocket put up very little resistance with 'The Duke', to produce an easy, slick, protective lather that, with the trusted 34C HD/ Polsilver combo, provided a shave that was nothing short of impeccable. Yet another winner from Canada, that deserves more attention..

Last night at the Festival of Lights in Riverside, California, Eric from Regiment has a booth and while we were talking he gifted me a tin of soap. He said to choose whatever I want, and after some protest I did. I almost went for the seasonal Frosty, which smelled straight up like a peppermint candy; then I smelled Grove and that was like freshly squeezed orange juice. Ultimately I chose ZONK!. The scent notes are described as amber, grapefruit, and wood notes. It just smelled so good. If you're in the area stop by and say hi. Not only will you have the chance to talk to a local artisan, the festival is pretty awesome, especially if you have kids.
