A few artisans use it. One in particular had a vendor that wouldn't sell it because of the "lard" nomenclature. The artisan changed the label ingredients to read "manteca" and the vendor was happy to sell it.

Shaving recipe for today.


Prep: Hot shower:/ L'OREAL~ Hydra Sensitive Birch Sap Shower Gel.


Pre:

warm wet flannel to my face.

Pears ~ Transparent Soap.

Brush: Semogue 1305.

Face Lather.

Soap : Phoenix & Beau. ~Star Noir.

Blade: SuperMax ~ Blue Diamond Platinum.(1)

Razor: Parker Variant ~ (settings) wtg.3 xtg.3 atg + pick ups 4.

Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse./ Homemade Lavender + Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./ Geoffrey Beene ~ Grey Flannel ASL.

Nivea Men ~ Cooling Post Shave Balm.

Greetings,

Another early morning start for me..due to me having to do a half shift at the mill. Needs must unfortunately.

A new shave set up to start the weekend...Maiden shave with the Supermax Blue Diamond Platinum blade which paired together excellently with the Parker Variant.

I have a great fondness for all my parker razors,but the Variant is my favourite ,for the simple reason it's gave me consistantly irritation-free silky smooth shaves with every shave i've had with it and has paired together well with each blade i've matched it up with..A superb solid performing de razor.

Another 3 pass + pick ups BBS shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of Nivea Men ~ Cooling Post Shave Balm.

My face is feeling smooth, & smelling devine.
