| Comments | Back to the Tech/Feather combo today for the 4th shave with the same razor and blade. Today is the 60th use of the GFT Cream. It has finally reached the bottom of the tub. I may be able to squeeze one more shave out of this cream. The Rooney did a good job of loading the cream and it made some nice lather. An excellent shave. Have a good day, B&Bers. |

The best shave I’ve ever had…ever. Where has this razor been hiding all my life?
No I am not exaggerating. This is the third shave with my Autostrop 7 o’clock razor and it is blowing all my other razors out of the water. Better than my Valets, GEMs, Schicks and Gillette’s. I just cannot believe it. It is so incredibly smooth you could shave a sleeping cat with it.
While I’m “fessing up”, the Proraso was just excellent. It was my first wet shaving cream, but has been ignored as I amassed various “Artisan” soaps. Was it snobbery? You betcha, but today I’m changing that with this confession…Bless me father for I have…..

Razor: Everready 1914,(LLC), Mfg 1914-17, excellent mid range, 1st generation blade stops(bit intimidating), great results from this razor, very good audio feedback.
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE(6) excellent blade.
Soap: Razorock Lavender, nice masculine scent, excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Chianti's synthetic, Excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud like soft tips, gentle scrubber + great lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock King Louis Lavender with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm with 2 drops of HA.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers=
excellent shave with my ER 1914 with a coated Gem blade.
Have some great shaves!
