First shave with this combo. G plate is no joke. I need to play with the angle. It was efficient, but, it was a blood letting. Nuàvia is nice. Love the brush.

AAA - shave no. 5

Predominantly pineapple-y and woodsy, that's how I would describe the TOBS version of Aventus, in a nutshell. It's a very pleasant scent.

Overall, it is a very solid performer, just what you'd expect from a TOBS cream. The cream is slick when properly dialed in.

Today's shave was uneventful. 3 passes, no nicks. Ended up with a bbs on the face and a dfs on the neck. Very smooth passes, again. Skin irritation? None.

Fineshed my shave with L'Aventure, which is the most mossy Aventus clone in my small dupe setup - a nice combo.

Day 23 - Another Day Another Razor

Dubl Duck Special No. 1 unmatched pair - It says Pearl Duck so where's the pearl?

Here's another brand that hasn't quite lived up to it's reputation for me. The scales on one were cracked. Both had those bland yellowish flat scales. If they say Pearl Duck, they deserve pearl scales.

Black and Antique Pearl Kironite. I kept the curves and dimensions close to the originals. I tapered one end to a point for some flair and added aluminum spacers. The blueing from the spines to the tangs was redone.

Both were easy to hone. For me, neither gives a better than average shave but are very easy to hold and maneuver.

Speaking of "it says" ..

My goal is to shave one last time with at least 30 of my collection of misfits, rescues, and ugly razors. Then they all go up for sale so I can buy more to fix and customize.

Just always reliable performance from this soap. Pleasant scent, gorgeously creamy and slick lather easily whip-up...
This inaugural shave with the razor shows why eBay shave-ready razors are most of the time incorrect...to me as least. After barely 1 pass, change to ZY430 to complete 3passes for a sas+ result. Red Imp has a date with an Ozuku soon.
