I’ve been getting sloppy with my technique lately. So today I paid more attention and got a DFS + without injury.

Cooper-Vib'Raz/BIC/MDC. The beauty of the Vib'Raz cap is that it can match with so many different plates to slightly tweak the razor geometry. The Conrad/Cooper/Barbasol NFH guard has a but more curve which increases exposure if not nearly as much as the Dart. Results rival the Gem Bullet Tip which I used for pick ups which were almost non-existent.

AAA - shave no. 3

Razorock's Emperor is a nice and slick soap. I started with a rather dry brush and added water constantly dropwise - until my lather was creamy and properly hydrated.

It's obvious that even a new vintage Polsilver Stainless doesn't provide a benchmark sharpness level (but the smoothness does). It became clear in my third pass today. When shaving with the R41 it's the ATG pass where a blade must be as sharp as possible to receive the desired level of comfort. That's not been the case today, however, overall the result still was comfy enough. BBS on the cheeks, dfs on the neck. No nicks, no irritation. Nicely finished with the Emperor AS (moderate burn).

A dozen of shaves have been completed successfully - onward to shave no. 13!

Day 21 - Another Day Another Razor

Oxford and J.A. Henckels Dutch points - Ooops .. Can I do that again?

In shaping the scales on the J.A. Henckels, I accidentally drew the rough pattern on both sides of the scales. Not paying attention, I flipped the pair over and started removing stock in the wrong place. Hmmm .. anyway of saving this Black Pearl kironite blank?

The results came out interesting to say the least. Lightweight, unique, functional .. So I made another set out of Black Ice kironite for the Oxford.

The shape no drawback when shaving with either of these.

BTW, for the pairs I have been shaving left side of my face with one and right side with the other. Not quite a fitting good bye to them, but there is a limit to my tales that go with them.

My goal is to shave one last time with at least 30 of my collection of misfits, rescues, and ugly razors. Then they all go up for sale so I can buy more to fix and customize.
