This synthetic brush wins again. My difficulty getting a thick lather with this well-known Proraso cream is why I got a synthetic brush. Tons of thick lather.

Prep: Warm shower:/ Original Source ~ Tingly Mint & Tea Tree Shower Gel.


Pre:

Cold wet flannel to my face.

Pears ~ Transparent Soap.

Brush: Wilkinson Sword.

Face Lather.

Soap: Wilkinson Sword Soap Bowl + 6 drops of Glycerin.

Blade: Perma-Sharp Super.(2)

Razor: Wilkinson Sword Classic.


Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade menthol crystals +Eucalyptus peppermint,+ Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./ Benjamins ~ Mentholated Bay rum.

Wilko ~ Mens Aftershave Balm.

Normally i have a Williams Superlather sunday shave but today i fancied a change and went for a near Wilkinson Sword themed shave instead.

The wilkinson sword soap bowl is a love/hate soap with most people who try it are far too quick to condemn it, before giving it a fair chance,which is normally a few times, then throw it away and keep the bowl for other soaps...In all fairness you can have an excellent shave with this glycerin based shaving soap it takes a little longer to get a lather, you just won't get excited about it.The addition of the added glycerin makes a noticable difference to the lather,The scent is pleasing 'to my nose' YMMV however, with it been a in-expensive shaving soap people get bored of it very quickly

The Perma-Sharp Super blade paired together wonderfully with the non-aggressive wilkinson sword classic razor, making another smooth efficient duo.

A comfortable 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth sunday shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of Wilko ~ Mens Aftershave Balm.

My face is feeling smooth & smelling devine.
