Razor - Charcoal Goods Torpedo handle, level 2 plate
Blade - Shark Super Chrome (3)
Brush - Fendrihan tuxedo knot
Bowl - Captain's Choice heavy-duty copper bowl
Soap - Mystic Waters Raspberry Lemon
Aftershave - Brickell unscented balm
Got a great shave from this razor today. To me the level 2 plate reminds me a lot of the Above The Tie R1 plate: quite efficient but not at the expense of comfort. For such a long handle (I prefer 3" handles overall), the balance of the Torpedo handle actually makes it a rather deft razor. The angle is also a cinch. I also love how thin the assembled head is; it just feels really precise in tight places.
I WAY overloaded the Mystic Waters soap. I didn't have this issue the first time I used it, but holy crap was my shaving bowl FILLED with a dry foamy lather before I'd even gotten enough water into it. Now I know that this is an easy soap to overload, and can take a lot of water before it starts to settle into something denser with a good sheen. I actually had to dump some of the early lather; it was just way too much to work with in the bowl. I've found Captain's Choice to be similar in that regard; even a pea sized amount of CC just explodes in the bowl. I added more water and worked it further after the first pass and it was much more to my liking after that. The scent is freaking killer too, so perfect for summer.

Another wonderfully relaxing Williams Superlather sunday shave.
Recently i've finally started to use up some shaving items i've neglected for a long time, the Arko fresh shave cream is one of them, combined together with the Williams mug soap created a superb superlather leaving a excellent post shave feel to my face.
The lord L125/ Gillette 7'0Clock SP was another great combo,I've rarely used the Lord L125 ,another razor that was kindly passed on to me by a work mate. I've forgot how efficiently smooth yet, non-aggressive this razor is with the right blade choice.
A comfortable 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.
Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of Cien ~ Aloe Vera Body Lotion.
My face is feeling smooth & smelling devine.
