That’s taking one for the Team alright....I do Public Address for the local university baseball team and they are on a 7-game losing streak. So, to do my part to break the streak, I dug out (pun intended) the Chiseled Face Pine Tar soap. Used a synth brush I don't care about and a Wilkinson butterfly razor with Wilkinson blade. Fortunately, I didn't have the Pine Tar AS or they would've kicked me out of the press box. Substituted Ghost Town Barber AS.
I got a great shave and they broke the streak with a 4-0 win.
I like the Brut bottle. Is it vintage?View attachment 1249132
Pre: bluebeards revenge preshave oil massage (3 hours before) , proraso green preshave cream
Brush: yaqi 24mm 2band badger
Soap: Wickham soap apricus
Razor: Rockwell 6s R4
Blade: qshave #1
Post: cold water splash, brut as and finish with apricus balm
close and comfortable shave without errors to report.
Another decent shave, however this one wasn’t as close as usual. Decided to try out the q-shave blade.... it was quite smooth, however seems to not be sharp enough. At ATG pass it was tugging a little bit. Decided to throw it out after the shave, since life is too short for such blades
happy with close and comfortable shave this time .... it just means I can have another shave sooner
