Since I was prepping with the PAA Ice Cube tonight, figured I'd use it as a preshave, too. Made a nice combo with Love, which is a fantastic soap. Another improvement in the shave--no weepers tonight, but nowhere near comfortable.

A very good shave.
My Mixed Midget's still as scritchy as hell (on shave number 29)… here's to taming it a little.

I've just finished trialing my (same sized) Omega 599 Super Badger 22/48. The 599 started off being just too soft for me, but it's a great little brush and I've really grown to love it. Boy, today was a shock! The Mixed Midget it definitely THE SCRITCHMEISTER, but I do like it and it's definitely up there with my wonderful Semogue Mistura in the "lather monster" league.

As ever, the rest of the team did an excellent job.

A nice cool shave start to finish thanks to the PAA and NO. Tried the E3 steep tonight and it was certainly more comfortable, but left too much stubble, necessitating a third pass at the regular angle to clean it up. And I ended up with another weeper on the second pass.

Awesome lather from the soap. Pleasant scent plus a thickly creamy and slick lather...
Tried using the AC razor with the RazoRock Stainless Handle and tightened further with an o-ring washer and paired with the blade was so much better. Very smooth and comfortable for 3passes without any issues for a mostly bbs finish. Excellent aftershaves capped off an enjoyable session.
