Again used the TI Crown Wing 6/8.
BB splash and I relented and spritzed some of the new Vaara edp.

Last shave of the year, with high quality products to prepare me for the celebration of the new year's eve. The soap has given me a lot of protection, although I do not need to much using the Cobra; I feel very confident using this razor.

Used my new Ralf Aust straight and my new TFS soap. The first few strokes felt a little tuggy, but I found it was just my lather that was a little dry even if it looked real good. After ading some water the shave was really nice. Of course I managed to ding the edge on my tap, and almost screamed in agony. Thankfulle the edge still felt ok, but I have to be more careful about that. Guess it's been a while since I used a real straight so the thought wasn't in the top of my brain anymore. Other than that I got a DFS and ended with some nice Bulldog ASB and a couple of spritzes of Eau Savage Perfum.

First shave of the sabbatical(and the year) was amazing, I will use Proraso Red SC all week and if all shaves is as good as todays I will be very happy! I bowl lathered for the first time in at least a year, and used the ceramic bowl in the sink filled with hot water as a scuttle. Man that felt great in the freezing house I live in(all my neighbours are away so it's almost impossibe for me to keep the heat up). The bad thing about this is of course that now I kinda want a scuttle, but I'll manage.
