Starting OCtober with the staple of open comb razors - the R41. And boy did it deliver. Two passes and I was smooth. Was using the third pass as toch up on the jaw line at first but decided to make it a full pass to get to the marble finish this razor is so renowned for. Not all bits are as marble, so 9/10 for that one. Using the excellent soap the razor was very smooth. I had the sense the blade might be over its top, but not entirely sure - although the two weepers are a giveaway. Brush lost two hairs again today and returned to its previous behaviour of sucking up my lather for the second and third pass. Hmm

Came to realise that my soap is from artisan origin. Made by a little soap factory here in the Netherlands and then rebranded as Kox Bergamot.

Comments	Changing the brush today: the Simpson Chubby II in Best. This is one nice brush that is perfect for my four-pass face and two-pass head shave. The Noble Otter soap gave me some nice, rich, slick lather. A perfect shave.

Schick Saturday Shave, Oct 1st 2022

Razor : Schick adjustable injector M3- Mfg 1970-72, well built and easy to adjust on the go, still using this modified Kai Protouch and it is showing signs of weakness on 5th use.
Blade : Kai Protouch(5) excellent blade, sharp & and smooth with reasonable longevity, excellent blade for folks who nick easy or other skin blemishes IMO. Good blade to use when learning how to use a Shavette IMO.
Soap : Ogallala Bayrum & sandal wood, nice Bayrum scent with some clove + excellent lather protection.
Brush : Yaqi Moka express 26 mm 2band badger, excellent lather generator, big pillow soft tips, nice splay scrubber + great lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Witch hazel soap residual cleanse + Ogallala Bayrum & Sandalwood AS + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Schick adjustable injector with a Kai Protouch blade.
