A good BBS result with the very mild black plastic Wilkinson Sword Classic - took a little while to get there but no drama so a better than average 8.5/10.

A very good razor for beginners or converts from cartridges.

My homemade aftershave is as woody as Woody Woodpecker HaHa !

I don't stop shaving until I get a BBS lol !

Trying out the soap + aftershave I got as a Christmas present, I thought Australia day was as good a time as any. I'm not Tasmanian but I love the scent of Huon pine (not botanically a pine and a different scent) from visiting years ago. The soap feels good quality, soft, tallow based and slick, could've used more soap and water but the lather worked fine. The soap scent isn't all that much like Huon pine, mainly a woody cinnamon-y scent. The aftershave is much more like Huon pine, not photorealistic of the wood (maybe moreso the leaves?) but evocative enough of the unique resinous floral slightly peppery scent, I think they've added some other notes too (rose? slight incense?). Altogether a very unique and enjoyable scent. While I like both BICs and my Super 109, I don't think they're the best combo together (a little bloody), so I used my Fatip Piccolo/BIC for touch-ups which felt much better.

Comments	This was the fourth shave with the milder version of the Henson Razor: AL 13++ loaded with a PolSilver Super Iridium blade. The shave was good but on the final pass, I could feel the blade was losing its sharpness. co. Today’s brush is a 28mm synthetic by Maggards. The brush was large and struggled to load sufficient soap since size restricted movement on the puck. I used the Haslinger Schafmilch – the old, tallow formula soap for the fifth time. The shave was BBS. Have a great day and week, folks.
