Today I got in my Gillette blades and I was excited to have my shave. I took my time shaving in the shower which payed off big time. Water was turned off when not in use to conserve. The Prorasso pre-shave cream seems to work pretty good for me when I apply it liberally and re-apply more before starting a new pass. I was impressed with the performance of the Gillette Platinum blade. I blade buffed a little around my mustache corners and chin curvature. Shaved WTG, XTG and ATG with my normal trouble areas requiring just a little more attention. The extra effort to get my trouble spots BBS did not cause the irritation as I feared. After shave today was Alighieri which is straight Fahrenheit scent. It’s hard for me to reach for other After shaves because this one is so nice. I shave every day but today was especially nice.

A very good shave.
The FBT remains on the Number One spot on the podium (so my NEW RFB will just have to stay on the Number Two spot). I think my whiskers have been honing the Wizamet; it definitely feels (even) sharper than when it started out.

The lather qualities from the soap are just impeccable...the scent is nice albeit light. Matched well with the splash.
This shave with the blade in the razor was not so good. Not so smooth and efficient. Managed 3passes without issues for a sas result. The blade will be ditched...
