SOTD - “Den Diving/Archaeology” August 1st, 2022 to August 7th, 2022

Hello B&Bers!

For the last few months, we had been showing our support for our amazing B&B Supporting Vendors. It was fun to see pics of all of the great gear from these fine folks. Thank you all for participating and a big thank you to our supporting vendors who help keep the lights on at B&B!

This Week’s SOTD Theme Week is all about Obscure stuff/Den Diving/Archaeology! Dig deep into your dens and show us some shaving gear that doesn’t get much use/love. The older, weirder and rarer the better. If you haven’t used a razor, soap, brush, aftershave or certain blade in months/years, we want to see it!

If you don’t have anything weird or seldom used? Please still post pics of your usual SOTD or just tell us all about it. Let’s see lots of great images this week!

As always, being creative and having fun IS mandatory but sticking with the theme is NOT mandatory but very strongly encouraged.

Let’s see some shaving gear from the deep recesses of your den…

Soap Stirling Sharp Dressed Man
Brush Yaqi 24mm Cavern Lake 2 Band Badger
Razor Wade & Butcher 7/8 "Steamship" Wedge
Aftershave Stirling Sharp Dressed Man Splash
Good quality lather from the soap. Excellent brush for face lathering. Together with the matching splash, the scent is pleasant but abit faint and did not last...for me at least...
I missed using an SR and today's shave with my favorite heavy-weight wedge was very enjoyable. 3 easy, gentle, smooth, and comfortable passes for a dfs-ccs-sas finish...

This brush has been used about 45 times and is broken in enough, now, that it face lathered just fine.
