Well, that was nice. I used some new items today - the Rooney 3/1 and Harris Marlborough.

I may prefer the shorter loft of the 3/1 to the 2/1 I've been enjoying lately. My preference in brush knots/lofts seems to be getting smaller and smaller as time goes on. The handle of the 3/1 is nice - not too big, not too small.

The Harris soap seems to have a slickness unique unto itself and I appreciate how the scent is subtle.

I love the BK8, I can make it act like 2 different brushes and I love the knot size, A great brush. As far as the straights, I am really enjoying them when I have time. Henry was instrumental in my seeing if I would like them or not. Very nice shaves. I just found out I will inherit my great grandfathers setup.

Now that is freakin' cool!

Trying to cut back on the amount of stuff I slap on my face. Skipped the asb and alum block today and face feels fine. Those Kai blades are growing on me, three WTG passes = nearly as good a shave as Feathers and no irritation. Darn good blades.
