Razor: Valet Auto-strop, Canadian variant-Mfg 1920's-1930's, interesting tame mid range razor for its time period, this model works well with a Feather FHS-10 blade because the blade still fits the proprietary clamp system. Nice razor once in while for a morning shave. Daughters Christmas gift. Blade: Feather FHS-10, sharp and smooth with terrible longevity IMO, 2 shaves then tossed for myself. Soap: Cyril R Salter Indian Sandal wood cream, great sandal wood scent, with excellent lather qualities.(misted) Brush: Yaqi 24mm Orbital ring boar bristle, excellent lather generator, soft split end hair tips, nice scrubber, great lather painter. Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera Gel on the cleaned beard area. Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. Post shave: Witch hazel cleanse + Ogallala Bayrum with Sandalwood+ a dollop of CeraVe Moisturizer lotion(balm) + scentless. Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my 1930's Valet auto strop with a Feather FHS-10 blade.
