Have a Nice Day Gentlemen
I have to admit this setup of my beloved Mark Cross and a Schick Proline yields an even more enjoyable shave than my DE go-to, the Shake Sharp, easy two pass BBS head and face shave and especially superior on the chin where most set-ups cause me difficulty. The only issue is repeatability, as there's no easy way of getting blade gap just right without fiddling. This is right and man is it sweet.

Only day I'm working this week; not hurried, but can' dawdle. I'm still slow with a straight so Wilkinson Sword Empire today, using Commodore X3 best badger and Seaforth mug.
SC Devotion soap/AS with witch hazel between.
Very nice shave to start the day.

Beautiful pic, Phil. What did you think of the Red Eye combo?
Thanks, Ron! Like all Stirling soaps that I have tried the Red Eye lathers beautifully. I can't describe the scent except to say that it is subtle and very appealing. Same goes for the aftershave. It was a Christmas gift along with Stirling City Slicker soap and aftershave, neither of which I can find on the Stirling web site for some reason. Love the City Slicker too! :thumbup1:

A bit pressed for time today, so it was . . .
  • Neutrogena Shave Cream (brushless, gasless goo)
  • R41
  • Astra green (5)
  • Alum stick
  • Pinaud Vanilla A/S
  • Nivea A/S balm
Then it was out into the cold for a blast of nature's own cryogenic aftershave.
