Razor: Razorock 2nd Gen Lupo.72-Mfg 2021> excellent mid range, very well designed and clamping of blade is exceptional, great finish and well machined QC. It seems mostly a carefree shave 96% of the time. Technique has this razor dialed in perfect.
Blade: Gillette Nacet (2) excellent blade, Sharp & smooth with great longevity.
Soap: Razorock The Dead Sea, unique scent with excellent lather qualities. I always enjoy this soap.
Brush: Yaqi Cavern lake 24mm tuxedo knot, excellent lather generator + cloud like soft tips, great scrubber + excellent painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock The Dead Sea with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion + scentless.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers = excellent shave with my RR Lupo.72 with a Gillette Nacet blade.

Carbon Dating
Another perfect shave from a vintage carbon blade. I personally couldn’t tell the difference from a modern SS blade. I’m definitely going to use this blade for a third shave.
Barrbarr lather was wonderful and complimentary to the blade. I always make way too much lather with this soap, so I made a note in my shaving app that “a little goes a long way”. Even with half what I normally use it still made more lather than I needed. The matching splash left me feeling fresh and well barbered.

Comments	Back to the ATT S-1 with the Med Prep blade being used for the second time. The Evo is one of my favorite synthetic brushes. It is extremely dense and yet soft. It does a great job of making lather and feels great on the face The S-1 does its usual great job. A perfect shave. Have a good one, gents.

Do you load this soap directly from the bowl? I contacted the company directly and was advised that either way is good, just to be cautious that when loading directly as their is a potential to use too much product. Thus far I've just been scooping some out with a spoon.

Prep: Hot shower, Proraso Rinfrescante beard wash & Proraso Mint & Rosemary beard scrub on beard and scalp.
Pre: Micro-lather from loading Cella from the container.
Soap: Cella
Brush: Semogue 830
Razor: FOCS
Blade: King C Gillette (2)
Post: Warm rinse, alum, cold rinse.
AS: Thayer’s WH & Proraso red balm.
Beard: Luxurious Bastard’s Original Bastard oil (has a great powdery barbershop scent that pairs really nicely with Proraso red.)
Soundtrack: Dopesmoker by Sleep

Head lather. WTG, ATG, touch ups.

A wonderful BBS shave this morning. No mishaps to report although the feedback from the alum implies I still have work to do on my technique.

Follow the smoke to the riff filled land.

Thursday SOTD- two passes, plus touch up, to get to DFS, a fine shave today:

Pre-shave: shower
Razors: Maxwell June twinned DE
Blade: Treet New Edge (2)- I wasn't expecting much; I got two pretty good shaves, but a little tuggy by the end, so off to another blade tomorrow
Brush: Rein Dachs Klassik 20mm badger- break in continues with another face lather today
Soap: Arko stick- well, it does the job
Post-shave: cold rinse, then Anthony Logistics ASB; Arko tends to be drying for me, so a quality balm finished the shave nicely

Today's EDC knife is again a Benchmade 940.

Cool! They are awesome products. The soap, AS splashes and EDTs. Tallow or no tallow, they are some of the best available IMO.
