Instead of not shaving today and healing from that injector butchery, I compromised and used a M3T. It's pretty foolproof around the neck area with the pivoting head, so I can heal and shave at the same time. Yay!

The Merkur was frightening. Felt like it was pulling not cutting.
The Gillette was fine with such a cheap blade. Interesting.

Very close shave today with no irritation. I did three normal passes (with, across, against) and a special, magic touchup pass. I rinsed all the soap off and did careful touchup with just water. Let me tell you... it was closer than I've had before, with no ill effects.
