Its after 7o’clock but I don’t care
This rare predecessor of the Valet/Autostrop co. is one of my finest shavers. It actually outperforms the razors that it evolved into. Totally efficient and as smooth as any Tech, Henry Gaisman hit a home run with this model. Unfortunately the blades of the era needed stropping, so it had to evolve into the automatic stropping Valet that we are more familiar with.
Also important to the perfect results of this shave is a soap from my favorite artisan “Arsenal Grooming”. Unfortunately they seem to have abandoned their site over one and a half years ago (around the start of CoVid19). I truly hope nothing bad happened.
Love the razor…love the soap…loved the shave.
Razor: Gem G Bar

My favourite artisan soap, my favourite artisan brush, and although I have a few modern razors, the Karve is probably the only one that qualifies as artisan. A great shave with a Kai blade and the SB C plate finished with the great Speick splash.
