Bloodbath! I cut off a pimple on my neck I didn't even know was there (never had acne, not even when I was a teenager), and going across the grain on my chin the blade rested in my small cleft and cut me pretty good. Lot's of blood. I don't even have a styptic pen, so I had to use t.p.

Respect the blade!

I found the brush on a medieval fair (though there is nothing medieval about it), so far it has shed a gazillion hairs from an already not so dense knot, it did not work well with soap, but I expect better results with cream - the handle is a beauty though. If the knot keeps shedding like that I'll replace it with a Golden Nib one.

I have some trouble getting a great shave from a slim - started at 6 - then down to 5 - then up to 7 - should have started at 7 and stayed there.

i found a sample of the Tiffany "For Men" and wore it all weekend as well as a heavier dose today for work, and believe it to be phenomenal! it's what i imagined and hoped Floris 89 would be, and one of the few "oriental" (though i hate that description) scents that im really drawn to. Thanks for the recommendation!!

Must admit I was pleasantly surprised by TOBS. A small dab created piles of lather which performed really well, especially with a blade that was getting old... Definitely might pick up a tub during my next splurge.
