Sorbolene Cream - I forgot I had it.

Has anyone out there used Sorbolene Cream for shaving? I started getting into B&B in December and my blades, creams, soaps, AS and fragrances is growing rapidly. So fast in fact that I had to start cleaning out the drawer/cabinet on my side of the bathroom to make room.

While I was moving things around I came across a tub of Blue Lizard Pure Australian Sorbolene Cream. I don't remember exactly why I ordered it but I do remember researching it after reading about how hospitals use it as a shave cream because it's super moisturizing and very slick. I suppose we are talking about shaving for surgery prep rather than your face.

It doesn't have any sort of old time story and it's fragrance free so I can't get excited about the scent. I will say that it does a good job as a shave cream but I've never tried it with a brush. I believe there is some mineral oil in it and my guess it that's not good for my brush.

The container says: Purified Water, Soft White Paraffin, Glycerin, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Liquid Paraffin, Ceteareth-20 and Chlorocresol. - No coloring, No Perfume, No Thickeners.

Anyone else ever heard of it or use it?

I'll probably give it a go tomorrow and let you know how it goes. I could possibly send out samples to a few if interested. I've used it before but back when I didn't really take time to appreciate a shave.
