Hey, I also got Chick Habit stuck in my head after seeing Death Proof. My gf bought that April March album and kept playing it.
I think this is another one of those cases in which the remake is better than the original.

My favorite song from that movie was the Coasters "Down In Mexico", even though they used a re-recording. I can't find the original on Youtube or I would link to it.
