Something new from Max Sprecher

I've had this Cape 2000 for many years. The scales were a wee bit warped from being stuck in the coffin for 60 years, more or less. They were a bit cheap looking and very plain.. also a loose pivot pin. Time to send it out to the Master.
It came back today with new scales in Yellow Awabi. Max always does an impeccable job!

Really nice! I was just looking at my cape 1000 recently thats NOS and ive never used it. trying to figure out the difference between the 1000 and 2000 models.

Jon, the Cape 2000 is a little more hollow/lighter than the Cape 1000, but not by a huge amount. The Cape 200 (I have 3 of them) always reminds me a bit of a modern Dovo Bismarck but the 1000 do not, they’re heavier.
