Some more of the Ukrainian Salt Bog Oak

I have a few more pieces of the Ukrainian Salt Bog Oak coming in the next couple days. Had sent it out for professional stabilization.
The total amount of brushes depends a bit on their size, but my guesstimate would be probably 8-12 handles should be possible (depending on the handle sizes). Get your orders in before it is gone again.
I am also good stocked with Shavemac two-band silvertip knots, Semogue Boar and Mistura and Muehle STF Knots.

I love mine. I highly encourage everyone to have at least one Salt Bog Oak. I especially like the bits of crystalline reflections throughout the Ukrainian Bog Oak. I tried to catch some of it in the picture.

The Oak has some nice grain, have you ever done Desert Iorn Wood?

Dust is very toxic like Heart & Cocobolo, but Iorn Wood is gorgeous
I have, great wood.
I am highly allergic to Cocobolo and cannot longer work with it or even touch anything made from it, next time I end up in the hospital I was told.....it is getting worse every time.

Many old time Pool Cue builders never wear protective masks, they became pulmonary crippled. Back in that time who would have know some wood dusts were so toxic.

Ironwood seems to be desired suddenly. Oumo did their barbershop series with it and then added ironwood to all their designs. They also created some Father's Day special hybrids with ironwood and resin. Arno also just launched an artisan series that is all ironwood. I managed to get a Chairman and Artist from the barbershop series before they sold out and one of their Element designs. I find myself gravitating to my wood brushes more and more. In terms of woods I have, I like the Ironwoods, Salt Bog Oak, then Red Oak, then Olive Wood. I have other woods they just don't sing to me as much as these do. @Rudy Vey is working on a custom for me in Hinoki Wood that I think may end up moving to the top.
