Some ink samples

For whatever it's worth it, I wanted to share a few samples of inks.
I've been exchanging some thoughts and opinions on inks with Carry (I hope I spelled her name right) from Reid's Stationery in Calgary. She had fun testing some of my and her own inks, and was so kind to share her efforts with me. Dip pens were used for the samples. As you know when using dip pens nibs, the colours are not the same as with FP nibs. The scans are quite accurate, I dare to say.

I can add more to these samples later using FP, if somebody is interested.

I just tried my first De Atramentis ink (Steel Blue) and I don't think it'll be my last! I probably will steer clear of the scented inks, though.

Beautiful samples! I wish I could write that well. My handwriting has improved since using a FP. I love the De Atramentis Sherlock Holmes, really deep true blue. Although the midnight blue is is nice in its own right.

Boris is hand with that Nib... its done with some practice, aome patience... and an italic nib like a pilot parallel

I'm a big fan of De Atramentis Sherlock Holmes, it took me three sample vials before I bought my first bottle, I love it!
