What's new

Some advice please

I bought a large lot of razors, blades and other shaving supplies from an individual and it has a couple of items I don't want or need. I'd like to sell them if anyone's interested but I've searched here and a couple of other sites and have struck out. I have no idea what a fair price is for these items. If anybody can help, either PM me or post any opinions here.
First is a straight razor. The only writing on it says: N&R Dodge Sheffield.
The second is a WINNER HONE. As you can see it is split in half. I don't know if epoxy would repair it or not.
If this stuff is not worth anything I can live with that. I just didn't want to pull a number out of my rear end or not give someone a fair price if they're interested in either item..
Thanks for any help.

that stone probably will not be worth anything because its broken, but in general whole barber's hones go for 10-30 bucks as far as I know depending on the brand and condition.
To me it looks like the razor is fairly worn out, by the size of the shank I would place it as quite a bit larger than its current size. IMO eBay is the best option for it, just get what you can for it.

Given the hone wear, I doubt that blade was much bigger than in is now. Tangs can only be made so small before they become difficult to hold.

As for the hone, unless you find it usable in pieces, it's toast.

Thanks. I'll probably use the hone around the house for knives. The razor looks like a pretty basic model so I'll probably just put it in a drawer and forget about it.
