As I’ve been trying new soaps, I’m curious which soaps you think are the thirstiest (requiring the most water for a good lather) and the driest (requiring the least water).
Through experience I expect you’ve had shaves where it felt like you were scraping cream cheese off of your face (too little water), or when the lather was so wet it dripped off of your face (too much water). Of course, neither are ideal, but have you noticed a big difference in performance when using more or less water than recommended?
