Soap Storage Question

Gents,

I have a pretty decent collection of shaving soaps (Tabac, Dr. Harris Almond, L'Occitane, Chezch and Speake, Razorock etc). I don't like buying the bowls. I prefer to spend my cash on refill pucks rather than the pucks with the bowls. Where do you guys store your pucks? I was thinking about a Tupperware container, but would really like to store the, segregated from each other. Although, I'm sure that's not politically correct, we're only talking about soaps here. Have I missed some trick that all you guys use, or are their vendors that sell cheap single puck storage spaces. I have a few that came with some soaps, but because I rotate about 50 soaps and creams, And only shave every other die, I'm pretty sure there will be rumors of a new Mayan doomsday before I use up all the soaps in them

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Max.

I think I finally found my solution this past week. Most of the containers I looked at were either square or far deeper than necessary. Assuming these exist elsewhere, check out the containers used in the bulk olives section of your local grocery store where you can scoop up bulk olives into the containers provided. The smaller of the containers works perfect. I threw in one of these with my order this past Monday and the salesgirl didn't even bother to charge for it. If there were a charge it would be pocket change.

I'm the same way. Incidentally, it's a great way to save money. The refill puck of AOS is around $13, while with the bowl it is over $40! What the frickety-frack?!

I use these: http://www.westcoastshaving.com/Frosted-Low-Profile-Jar-with-White-Domed-Lid_p_1680.html They're a little pricey at WCS, but I do so much ordering from them it's not a big deal. Mama Bear has them for free, but they're already used so they already have a faint scent of whatever was in them before. Plus, these stack SO AMAZINGLY!

That is an awesome idea.

If you like the wooden bowls but don't like the premium attached by the manufacturer when they stick a puck in a bowl for you, google for Kingsly shave bowl. These are inexpensive and look as nice as the ones you pay the big bucks for

I use the same container as ItsAllGravy. I works well but you can't stack them as the lid is not flat but inflated. They are otherwise quite nice. I glue the sticker under the lid to remind me of what's inside.

dollar tree has 3 ziploc twist n loc and 5 smart snap containers. The twist n loc are only slightly larger than MWF rounds and both are stackable. They also sell small glass custard containers no lid though.

These look decent. Screw on top. 3.25 diameter and 1.6 in height. 5 oz. 10 for $10.50.
Mike, I also use these and buy them from WCS. If the puck is a bit too large, then I grate a little off the circumference, drop the shavings in the bottom of the tin, and then press the puck into the tin. Good tight fit. I face lather and there is plenty of clearance to work lather on the brush.
